At Sasana, leadership is shared across three governing entities — the Administration, the Board of Governors, and the College Work Group (CWG). Each carries distinct responsibilities, yet all work together toward consensus on major policy decisions. This model of shared governance creates a strong, healthy school community where children can learn and grow.
Board of Governors — Governance & Resources
Safeguards resources, ensures compliance, and guides the school’s long-term strategy and development.
College of Teachers — Teaching & Pedagogy
Holds pedagogical leadership, shaping curriculum, mentoring teachers, and ensuring the quality of Waldorf education.
Administration Team — Operations & Support
Manages daily operations, communication, and logistics so teachers can focus fully on the children.
College Work Group (CWG) — Integration & Leadership
Serves as Sasana’s integrative management team, coordinating the work of committees, monitoring the Strategic Plan, and aligning operations with Waldorf principles.
Alongside these bodies, the Parent Representative School Group (PRSG) plays a valuable supporting role — building community spirit, organising events, and leading book study, parents activities and support school initiatives as and when possible. While the PRSG does not participate in school management or decision-making, it enhances the social life of the school and helps bring our shared vision for the children to life.
