Sasana International School is independent of State funding and its three-fold organisation involves a Board of Governors (Board), a Principal working with the College of Teachers, and a Parent Representative School Group (PRSG).
The Board’s role is one of governance and overseeing the deployment of resources and the strategic development of the school.
The management of the school is delegated by the Board to a Principal who works with a College Work Group (CWG). In the CWG, the Principal works with senior teachers on the development and implementation of curriculum and teaching and with a Business Manager on the day-to-day administration of the school.
The volunteer role of the PRSG is one of community development and fundraising within the context of the strategic and annual plan determined by the Board and College.
These three bodies, the Board, the Principal with the College of Teachers, and the PRSG, each hold regular meetings and work collaboratively. They keep one another informed and consult where appropriate.
